10 more apple trees were planted on the Inkerman today. Organised by Peter Corke from the Borough Council ably assisted by Paul Stone the Mayor. Members of the Ashgate Allotments dug the holes, Council rangers brought the trees and children from Old Hall School planted them and filled in the holes. Afterwards Transition Chesterfield pressed apples collected by the 'Abundance' project and all had a taste of how good fresh apple juice can be.
